Providing wireless access to digital resources

Almost half the world’s population, 3.7 billion people live offline, the majority of them being women and in developing countries. Remote learning remains out of reach for at least 500 million students around the world.

Grey-box was created to address this specific social and technical issue. Our product, UNI, offers offline educational resources and digital classrooms in a tiny box.

Our mission is to build accessible digital tools that promote autonomy and empowerment within communities located in remote areas – where the internet and electricity is unreliable.
